Jennerstown Speedway
Jennerstown Speedway is a historic short-track racing facility and NASCAR-sanctioned venue known for its deep roots in the Western Pennsylvania motorsports community. Hosting a wide range of high-energy racing events, the speedway draws thousands of fans, teams, and sponsors each season.
Since 2022, I have served as the sole graphic designer for the speedway, creating advertisements, billboards, and promotional graphics used across digital platforms and on-site at the track. My work plays a key role in promoting events, attracting sponsors, and maintaining a consistent and recognizable visual identity.
My involvement with the speedway began in 2019 in operational roles supporting race day logistics, including ticket production and distribution. This experience gave me a strong understanding of the event environment and audience, allowing me to design with both functionality and fan experience in mind.
Through this role, I have developed skills in high-visibility advertising, fast-paced production, and designing for large-scale, real-world applications.
Opening Night Poster
Problem
Create a visually engaging promotional poster that captures the energy of opening night while reflecting the identity of Jennerstown Speedway.
Solution
Developed a stylized composition using vectorized illustrations based on real photographs and scenes from the track. This approach transformed recognizable moments into a cohesive, graphic-driven design that balanced realism with a more artistic, promotional feel.
Outcome
The final poster delivers a unique and memorable interpretation of the speedway, standing out from traditional racing advertisements while still maintaining a strong connection to the track’s identity.
2025 Season Schedule
Problem
Design a clear and adaptable schedule that communicates a full season of events across multiple platforms while serving as a foundational marketing piece.
Solution
Created a flexible layout system that could be used across digital, web, and print formats. The design prioritizes readability and organization while establishing a visual direction that informs the rest of the season’s branding and promotional materials.
Outcome
After multiple revisions and refinements, the final schedule became a central promotional asset, distributed online and in print to local businesses. It serves as both an informational tool and a visual anchor for the speedway’s marketing throughout the season.
Altoona Curve Race Night Facebook Post
Problem
A last-minute update required a promotional graphic to announce two drivers attending a fan event at the Altoona Curve. The design needed to be created quickly while clearly communicating key event details and maintaining brand consistency.
Solution
Developed a composite graphic under a tight deadline, combining driver imagery with bold typography and clear information hierarchy. The layout was designed for immediate readability on social media while still capturing the energy of the event.
Outcome
The final graphic was delivered efficiently and shared across social platforms, ensuring fans received timely and engaging information. This project highlights my ability to work quickly without sacrificing clarity or visual impact in a fast-paced environment.
2026 Event Schedule Poster
Problem
Design a high-impact promotional poster to generate excitement and anticipation for the upcoming racing season at Jennerstown Speedway. The poster needed to communicate key event information while capturing the energy of short-track racing and appealing to a broad audience.

Created a bold, visually dynamic layout that emphasizes motion, intensity, and atmosphere. Strong typography and high-contrast imagery were used to draw attention and clearly present event details, while maintaining consistency with the speedway’s overall visual identity.
